Changed in v7.0: the More tab has been replaced by the new Home tab. Everything that used to live in More is now behind the gear icon at the top right of the Home tab. See what moved where.
With Email Templates, you can define pre-written emails with personalized merge tags. You can invoke the template when emailing or messaging a contact, and it will auto-complete with the contact's information. This helps save a lot of time when you want to send a similar email to multiple contacts, while adding a personal touch.
Creating Email Templates
iOS: go to Home -> Settings (gear icon) -> Advanced -> Templates, and add a new Email Template from there.
Mac: go to Contacts Journal Settings -> Manage Data -> Templates, and add a new Email Template from there.
You can type out the generic email you want, using the Tags button to include any merge tags that you want.
Invoking Templates
When you send a email to a contact from the CJournal app, you can use the “Templates” button on the email draft page to select the Email Template you want to use. If you add merge tags in the email template, it can also use the contact’s information to fill in the personalized information like “First Name” etc.
