A Log is a record of a meeting or conversation with a contact. This is a great way to build your history of who you met, where you met them, what you talked about.
Creating New Logs
You can select a contact, and on the Logs tab, press the + button. With the Add Log page, you can add your notes, set a location and/or title, change the date, or add multiple contacts.
Share Extensions
You can also create Logs from any content (text, images, videos, files) from any other app on the iPhone or iPad, by using Share Extension. Learn more about Share Extensions from this article.
Auto-Logging
When you make a call to a contact from the Contacts Journal app, it automatically creates a new Log with the date and time of the call.
When you email a contact from Contacts Journal, you can enter your email text in an Email Draft page, and then send off the email. The text you enter in the Email Draft page gets saved in an Log that is also automatically created for you. If multiple contacts are part of the email, the Log gets saved to all the contacts in the email list.
