In the Contacts Journal iPhone and iPad apps (running iOS9 and above), you can use an external keyboard to utilize these keyboard shortcuts:
Cycle through the main sections
- Command (⌘) + 1 [go to Contacts section]
- Command (⌘) + 2 [go to Logs section]
- Command (⌘) + 3 [go to ToDos section]
- Command (⌘) + 4 [go to Maps section]
- Command (⌘) + 5 [go to More page]
From Contacts page
- Command (⌘) + Left / Right Arrow [move to next / previous selected tab]
- Command (⌘) + n [Add Log, ToDo, File, Field; depending on selected tab]
- Command (⌘) + f [Search Contacts]
- Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + i [Import from Contacts]
- Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + c [Create New Contact]
- Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + p [Create New Private Contact]
Others
- Command (⌘) + n [in Logs and ToDos section, bring up Add Log / ToDo page]
- Command (⌘) + f [search in Contacts, Logs, ToDos and Maps sections]
- Command (⌘) + Escape [dismiss search or any window popup]
- Command (⌘) + s [save changes in Add Log & Add ToDo page]
On iPad with iOS9, you can press-and-hold the Command (⌘) key to see the list of supported shortcuts on that page.
