Contacts Journal v5.5 has redesigned the Filters pages for Contacts, Logs and ToDos, as well as added a brand-new filter for "Pin Colors" on the Map page. The new Filters pages provide more useful information that is easy to glance, while adding new functionality like multiple-filter-selection. This will help you better categorize your CRM information, and help you find the exact piece of data that you are looking for.
Redesigned Sidebars
Logs and ToDos
The Logs and ToDos pages have a new sidebar for filtering your information. You can see more information at a glance, like dots to signify activities on certain dates in the Calendar section, a 'Smart Filters' section to highlight more important information, and your list of Titles along with a count for each title.
To filter the data, you can select multiple dates, and/or multiple titles, or one of the custom filters on screen.
You can reorder, rename or delete Titles from the titles list directly from this page as well. To rename or delete, press-and-hold for a couple of seconds, and use the context menu that pops up. To reorder, hold and drag the Title into the place you want, and then 'drop' it.
Contacts
The Contacts Filters page also has the new redesigned look, with more information visible at a glance. It also supports multiple filters, so you can select multiple Tags or Groups (Public or Private).
You can also edit or delete any of the items in the Tags or Groups list. You can also reorder the items in the Tags or Private Groups sections. It's also much easier to add new Tags or Groups from this page.
Tips:
- to quickly select just one filter and apply it, double-tap that item from the list.
- if you have selected multiple filters and quickly want to remove them, you can select the "Reset" button
Pin Color Filters
The Map page has a new "Filters" option, where you can now filter your contacts by the 'Pin Color' you have applied to them. You can select one or more Pin Colors to filter. You can also rename the 'Pin Colors' from this page, to make the labels more descriptive. You can do by using press-and-hold on one of the items in the list, and then selecting Rename from the context menu.
